Our personal home and inspiration for this company, Copper Moon is a hi-desert oasis on a secluded 5 acres in Joshua Tree with 360 degree mountain views, a star deck, saltwater pool, olive trees, garage gym and game room. This southwestern-style home was designed for guests to experience the stillness and beauty of the desert. The artistry in the sunrises, sunsets and starry-night skies from the private courtyard is unmatched. Downtown Joshua Tree, shops and park are close by, but you will look forward to coming home!
The Birdhouse

The Outpost is the last stop on a dirt road lined with iconic Joshua Trees. Relax in the hot tub, cowboy tub or by the fire pit and enjoy unobstructed sunset views with rolling mountains to the west and north. This newly remodeled mid-century style home sits on 10 acres with vibrant wildlife and offers maximum privacy. 5 min from the main road, it's conveniently located fewer than 10 min from local restaurants and shops, Pioneertown (13 min), Joshua Tree town and the national park (20-25 min).
THE TEAM
Andrew Fortner & Ryan Cherlin are desert enthusiasts who share a love of the Joshua Tree community and curating unforgettable home-stay experiences. The two met at the beginning of the pandemic and launched three (soon to be five) short-term rentals of their own. Like many others, they traded city life and their 9-5 to pursue something new that they could call their own. Andrew spent 5+ years in the commercial/residential property management and hospitality industry. Ryan spent 15 years in global philanthropy working for the U.S. government, non-profits and the world's largest private foundation. Their combined experience with management and oversight of multi-million dollar properties, budgets, and contracts make them a formidable team. They decided early on to remain a boutique property management company, so they are able to offer the high-touch service their clients and guests expect. Their goal is to make your whole experience feel as though you are dealing with old friends—whether you decide to list your property with Copper Moon Realty or spend time in one of the homes in their portfolio.
